IELTS, TOEIC and Cambridge exams

    English for IELTS

    The International English Language Testing System(IELTS) is an examination that tests your English ability in academic contexts. It provides proof that you have the English language skills necessary to study at a university in the UK (and also in Australia, Canada and New Zealand).

    You can start your course any Monday, and the course is 15 hours per week (full time). The lessons are 12.30-15.30, Monday-Friday. You need an upper-intermediate level of General English to enrol on this course.

    You can also combine your English for IELTS course with General English lessons in the mornings (09.00-12.00, Monday-Friday, 15 hours per week, group).

    TOEIC

    ARELS Take the TOEIC here! The College is an authorised Examination Centre for the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC). The TOEIC is used by institutions, companies, and government agencies all over the world to measure English proficiency in the workplace. Improve your English and enhance your CV, employability and promotion prospects with this valuable qualification!

    You can prepare for the TOEIC exam at the College by enrolling on our afternoon group course.

    ARELSEnglish for Cambridge Examinations

    We provide examination preparation courses for two Cambridge ESOL examinations — First Certificate in English (FCE) and Cambridge Advanced English (CAE). These examinations are internationally recognised and among the world’s best-known qualifications. They are used by employers and universities as reliable indicators of competence in the English language.

    You can join these courses between March-June and September-December. The exams are in June and December every year. 

    The course is 15 hours per week (full time). The lessons are 12.30-15.30, Monday -Friday.

    You can also combine your Cambridge exams preparation course with General English lessons in the mornings (09.00-12.00, Monday - Friday, 15 hours per week, group).

    ‘First Certificate’ is an upper-intermediate level examination and you need an upper-intermediate level of General English to enrol on this course. 'Cambridge Advanced’ is an advanced-level examination. If you are successful at this level, it indicates you can use English effectively in a wide range of situations.  You need an Advanced level of General English to enrol on this course.

    You will have extensive practice in all 5 parts of the examinations, which cover speaking skills, listening skills, reading skills, writing skills and grammar.

    Our examination class teachers are very experienced in helping students achieve success in the examinations, and they give students the highest possible degree of support and advice. Pass rates for our students are high.
